Dr. Desiree Chow grew up in Winnipeg before moving to Melbourne, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Melbourne. Prior to relocating to Kamloops, Dr. Chow practiced comprehensive general dentistry in regional Australia, gaining extensive experience in various aspects of dental care.

Known for her compassionate and gentle approach, Dr. Desiree takes the time to understand each patient’s individual goals and concerns. She believes in creating personalized treatment plans that explore all options, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Desiree has an interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, focusing on minimally invasive techniques to restore both function and confidence in her patient's smiles. She is trained in orthodontic treatment including clear aligners, as well as anti-wrinkle injectables for addressing TMJ disorders and teeth grinding pain. She has experience with disadvantaged communities, spending time in rural Nepal to provide dental treatment and education to those with limited access.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Desiree enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and hitting the ski slopes.
